Battery maintenance
Precautions for E-Moped Lithium Batteries:
New Battery Charging:
Newly purchased batteries are usually pre-charged to approximately 40%. It is crucial to fully charge them before use.
Timely Charging:
After significant discharge, avoid completely depleting the battery every time. Charge it promptly and aim to keep it fully charged.
Charging Sequence:
When charging, connect the battery first. Ensure it is fully charged, then cut off the power supply, and finally unplug the battery plug.
Long-term Storage:
For long-term storage without use, charge the battery every two to three months. There is no need for continuous power maintenance.
Use a Dedicated Charger:
Do not casually replace the charger. Try to use a dedicated lithium battery charger; otherwise, it will shorten the battery's lifespan and may even pose risks.
Cool Down Before Charging:
After prolonged use, do not charge immediately. Waiting for 10 to 30 minutes for the battery to cool down before charging to extend its lifespan.
